Concord General Services Divisions

Street Maintenance
Road maintenance and repair are significant responsibilities of the Highways and Utilities Division of General Services, including potholes, existing signs, sidewalks, drainage collection, water distribution lines, sewer collection, plowing and snow concerns, plow damage, dead animal removal, fall leaf collection, and the Sustainable Tree Program.

The proposed paving plan for 2014-2023 coincides with our paving process to maintain City streets and roads.

Street lights are maintained by Unitil. Call (603) 224-2311 or (800) 852-3339 to report an issue. They will need to know the location of the pole you are reporting and, if possible, the pole number. The pole number can be found as the metal numbers facing the street that are displayed about six feet off of the ground.

Trash & Recycling
The City of Concord currently contracts with Casella, formerly known as Bestway, for all trash and recycling removal services. Please visit the trash and recycling page for more information on trash preparation, recycling procedures, solid waste management, events, and for the route map

Water / Sewer
The utility billing division generates and distributes invoices to the users of the city's water and sewer lines. The operations are financed and operated in a manner similar to private business enterprises. The water and sewer utilities are fully supported through user charges.

Arena
The city's ice arena is the Douglas N. Everett Arena located at 15 Loudon Road in Concord. The Everett Arena is the home of Concord Youth Hockey, Concord High Boy's and Girl's Hockey, Bishop Brady Boy's and Girl's Hockey, and Bow High School Boy's Hockey. It is also open for public skate during scheduled times.
