Concord Parks & Recreation offers a variety of programming for kids 5-14 years old throughout the year.

NFL Flag Football:  NFL Flag Football is a flag football league for boys and girls, ages 6-14 years old. The league is broken down into 3 divisions; Div. A (6-8 years old), Div. B ( 9-11 years old) and Div. C (12-14 years old). This league is co-ed, providing boys and girls the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football while playing in a safe environment. Teams will have a 20 minutes practices before their weekly 40 minute game. 

Co-ed Spring Soccer Clinic: This is a fun coed program with two divisions offered: 3/4 grade division and the 5/6 grade division. The emphasis of this program is fun, skill development, and multiple small-sided games. This program will help children learn the beginning skills, technique and etiquette of soccer.  Everything in soccer is covered from the technical (passing, kicking, dribbling skills), to short discussions of the game of soccer, stretching, skills, followed by soccer activities and small-sided games.. The purpose of this program is to provide a wholesome recreation experience in a safe and healthy environment; to have fun through participation and to teach the skills of soccer with emphasis on sportsmanship and fair play.

Co-ed Div. I Spring Soccer League: This is a co-ed recreational soccer leagues for kids in 1st & 2nd grade. Emphasis is on skill development, game participation, good sportsmanship and FUN! For the first time this age group with have 1 practice and 1 game per week. All practices and games will take place at Keach Park. 

Kids Yoga ages 6-10 years old: Kids yoga is a 30 minute class where children learn yoga poses and will apply those poses to games and activities. This class will incorporate strength, flexibility, and coordination in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Kids will engage in high energy games, find time for silliness and everything in between!

Culinary Class for Teens:  Looking for a class to teach you how to cook in a fun and inviting environment? Look no further! We will focus on popular dishes and how to create an entire meal from A-Z. The class will end each week with  a “family style” sit down meal to enjoy with the class.

Kids Can Cook! Ages 8-12 years old: Let your kids enjoy the joys of cooking! Classes will follow different themes depending on the time of year. Kids will cook dishes to share either in class or to take home. (note: participants will be using knives in the preparations)

Div. II Spring Basketball: Bummed that basketball season has ended? Cone and try the spring league! This program is organized into teams by gender. All teams will practice for 1 hour, once a week. Games will be held on Saturdays between the hours of 12-4pm, all practices and games will be held at Green St Community Center.

Little Monet’s K- 2nd grade: Let your little artist delve into different mediums and explore their creativity and imagination.

Youth Tennis Lessons: Concord Parks & Recreation offers tennis lessons for kids ages 8 -13 years old. Lessons are taught by Pattu Pillai, USPTR.

Archery ages 6 and up: Archery lessons for Concord Parks & Recreation are lead by Dana White, an instructor with over 30 years of experience. All equipment is provided.

Tae Kwon Do ages 5 and up: For self-defense, sport, fitness and fun, come learn a fast action martial art from Korea. Instruction is provided by Master Daniel Jung, a 7th degree black belt from NH Kicks Tae Kwon Do Family Fitness. During the last class students will participate in a board breaking ceremony.

Safe Sitter ages 11-14 years old: Safe Sitter is a well-rounded youth development program that teaches essential infant and childcare tasks. Participants will learn all aspects of being a successful sitter including setting prices, scheduling jobs and proper communication.
