Museum Passes


The Concord Public Library is pleased to offer the following museum passes for patrons to check out. The Concord Education Association provides funding for all passes.  The passes are subject to the rules and regulations of the museum.  Passes generally do not include admission to special exhibits.  For detailed information on hours, show times, and special exhibits, please visit the museum website.

Rules of Use

A pass may be requested by patrons with a valid Concord Public Library adult card by calling the Service Desk at 225-8670, option #3.  If the pass is available, it will be held at the Service Desk for one hour. Passes are loaned for three days and are not renewable.  A borrower must present a valid Concord Public Library adult card to check out a museum pass.  The pass must be returned in the case.  The overdue fine for a pass is $5.00 per day, and the replacement fee for a pass is $30.00.

 

*Canterbury Shaker Village

Each coupon is good for two people for reduced admission of $6 per adult or $3 per child age 6-17.

The museum opens for the season on Saturday, May 14 and is open daily from 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. through October 31. May not be used on Special Event days.

*Currier Museum of Art

Each pass admits up to two adults for free general admission.

 

The museum is open: 

Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

On the first Thursday of the month, the museum will stay open until 8 p.m.

Closed Tuesdays.

 

 

*The Fells

Pass admits two adults and all children in a family. 

The gardens and trails of The Fells are open dawn to dusk year round. The Main House is open 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. weekends and Monday Holidays, Memorial Day through Columbus Day; and Wednesdays through Sundays, June 17 through Labor Day. Please visit the web site for more information.

 

*McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center

The Discovery Center has shortened hours beginning Sept. 1, 2011.  It is now open Thursday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday evening 6:30 to 9 p.m.  There will be extended hours during school vacations and in the summer.  We have two dated non-returnable coupons for each day the Discovery Center is open. Each coupon admits up to four people for free to the exhibit galleries in the Discovery Center. To enjoy a planetarium show you must pay $4 per person. Mt. Kearsage Indian Museum

Each pass admits one person. There are two passes that can be used for either Monday, Wednesday or Friday; two passes for Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday; and two passes for Sunday.

Regular Season Hours

Open daily (including holidays) May 1 – October 31

Monday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, Sunday noon- 5 pm.
 

Weekends and by appointment only November 1–December 20.

**Museum of Fine Arts

Beginning November 1, 2011 the library will again have one dated pass for each day the museum is open during the calendar year (360 days). Each coupon admits up to two people, for general admission only, at $7 each (a savings of up to $13 each).

The Museum of Fine Arts is open seven days a week and the hours are Monday and Tuesday 10 a.m.-4:45 p.m.,  Wednesday-Friday 10 a.m.-9:45 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.-4:45 p.m.

Galleries are subject to last-minute closings and changes.

Each family pass admits up to four adults or two adults and their children or grandchildren.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 12 noon to 5 p.m., and is also open Monday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from July 1 through October 15 and in December.
