| To Support The Library You Can... |
If you would like to make a general contribution for additions to the collection, simply write a check. Make it out to “Concord Public Library” or “Penacook Branch Library.” On the check memo write “Donation for Library Materials” and mail it to:
Concord Public Library

Concord, NH 03301
Donate a specific magazine or newspaper
Budget reductions have made it necessary for the
library to cancel 25% of its magazine subscriptions and 50% of its newspaper
subscriptions. The Concord Public library has developed a “Save the Magazines
and Newspapers Program” and is seeking donations for these 70 magazine and
newspaper titles.
This is an opportunity for individuals, families, and businesses to invest in
the Concord Public Library. With your help the Library will be able to provide
more resources. Your contribution will benefit the entire community!
Recognition of your donation of a magazine subscription will be placed on the
plastic cover of the current magazine issue, or, for a newspaper subscription,
on a sign near the newspaper racks. We will also recognize our donors on our web
page.

Donate a specific book via Gibson’s Book Store, Borders Books or Amazon.com
Budget reductions this year mean that the Concord
Public Library will be buying half as many books as in previous years, including
fewer duplicate copies of best sellers. We are turning to our patrons and the
community for help.
Can you help us STOCK THE SHELVES? The Library has created wish lists for
four categories of books: Children’s Books, Adult Fiction Titles, Adult
Non-fiction Titles, and Penacook Branch Books. The wish lists are available at
local bookstores or online.
It’s easy to make a donation. Here’s how:
Go to Gibson’s Book Store or Borders Books in Concord and make a purchase from a wish list at the store. The book store and the Library will make arrangements to deliver the book to the Library.
Or, shop online at Amazon.com, and search for “Concord Public Library” under the “Wish List” tab. Amazon will ship us the book.
A book plate will be placed in each book with the donor’s name.
In an effort to further enhance the library’s services and its capacity to meet the needs of our community, we hope to build a core team of volunteers to lend assistance to library staff. Our staff will be happy to provide training, guidance and support.
Please consider joining us as we work to reach our goals! Whether you are someone who can volunteer once a week or just once a year, your time and talent is valuable and greatly appreciated. Please review the Volunteer Opportunities and click on Volunteer Application if you are interested in applying.
We appreciate your support!
Thank you to those
who have helped us so far…
