How do I get a copy of an accident report?

Copies of accident reports can be obtained by stopping at Police Headquarters during regular business hours and requesting a copy. You will need to have know the date and time of the accident, the case number or the names of the drivers. There is a set fee for a copy. If mailed there is an additional fee.

How do I obtain a pistol permit?

To obtain a pistol permit you must fill out an application. There is a set fee. The permit is a four year permit. It will take two weeks or ten working days for the process to be completed. You must be a Concord resident to apply.

How do I obtain a copy of an incident report ?

To obtain a copy of an incident report you must write a letter requesting a copy.  There is a set fee if the report is picked up at headquarters. There is an additional fee if the report is mailed.

Vacant House Check Program

If you are planning on going on a vacation, and nobody will be staying at your house, you are eligible to request a vacant house check on your home. In this program the Officers assigned to your area of the City will be made aware of you absence. A Concord Police Officer will visit your home  periodically during your absence and inspect the premises for any signs of suspicious activity. To take advantage of this program, call the Police Department at 225-8600, and request a vacant house check registration. They will need information such as the duration of your absence, vehicles parked in the driveway, emergency notification information, etc.
