The Concord Card
The City of Concord is now offering pre-paid parking meter debit cards that are available for purchase at the Concord Police Department located at 35 Green Street. At this time the parking meter debit cards can be used in the on-street parking kiosks, single space on-street meters and the pay-by-space kiosks located in the Firehouse Garage and the Durgin Garage. View the map to locate these structures.
The
cards are available in denominations of $20 at the
Reception Desk
at the Police Department from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday
– Friday. All cards are rechargeable.
How
does the Concord Card work in the Kiosk?
Insert the card into the front of the meter, following the direction of the arrow.
Leave your card inserted during the entire transaction. Only remove the card AFTER you obtain a receipt.
Follow the directions to complete your transaction.
Obtain a receipt. Remove the card.
If using an on-street kiosk, return to your vehicle and put the receipt inside, on the dash, so that the Parking Officer will be able to read it.
If using a kiosk in one of the parking garages, you do not need to display the receipt inside your vehicle. Because these spaces are numbered and you already entered your space number into the kiosk, there is no need to display your receipt. You may keep it as your receipt of payment and a reminder of which space you parked in.
How does the Concord Card work in the Single Space Meter?
Insert the card into the front of the meter, following the direction of the arrow.
While the card is inserted, the meter will automatically begin deducting value from your card in increments of 25 cents.
When the card had credited your meter with the desired amount of time or the maximum time limit (10 hours), quickly remove your card.
How do I add additional credit to my Concord Card?
If you have a business or co-workers that use the Concord Card (5 or more users), you can contact the Parking Control Unit to be added to the monthly re-charge program and we will come to your office.
