CAPITAL COMMONS GARAGE

The Capital Commons parking garage is located between South Main Street and Storrs Street on the lot known as the Sears block.  There are 510 parking spaces as well as an elevator and multiple stairwells for easy access to different levels.   

Entrance:  The entrance to garage is on Storrs Street.  There is access to Main Street on foot from Level 3, the elevator or the stair tower.

Hours & Fees:  Monday through Friday:  8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 50 cents per hour.  Park for FREE between the hours of 5:00 pm to 9:00 am.

New!  The City Council has approved a discounted daily parking rate at the Capital Commons Garage.  If you are going to park in the garage all day, buy a Pre-Paid Daily Pass for $3.00 (this saves you $1).  A Daily Pass can be purchased at the Concord Police Department between 8 am - 4:30 pm.  You can buy as many as you need.

Leased Parking Spaces:  New!  The City Council has approved a discount on the yearly lease rates.  Covered and uncovered spaces are available for the discounted rates of $783 - $1,008 per year per space.  These are billed on a quarterly basis.  Contact the Parking Division at Concord Police Department (603-230-3742) for more information. 

How To Use The Garage:

1.  Drive in the entrance and take a ticket.

2.  Find a space and park.  Please Take Your Ticket With You.  Do not crumple it or let it get wet from rain or snow.

3.  When you are ready to leave, you need to go to the Automatic Pay Station with your ticket before you go back to your car.  The pay station machine is on the Main Street level (Level 3) of the garage.

4.  Use the pay station to pay for the amount of time you used.  The machine takes bills or coins but not credit cards at this time.  Parking is 50 cents per hour.  Keep Your Ticket - you will need it to exit the garage.

5.  Return to your car and as you exit the garage, insert your ticket in the slot to raise the gate.

NOTE:  If you need assistance, there are phones at the garage entrance that you can use to contact the Parking Control Unit.

REMEMBER:  Entrance tickets must be validated through the automatic pay station which is located on Level 3.  This must be done even during "free" parking times.
