Volunteers are also occasionally needed for one-time or short-term projects such as:
There are a limited number of volunteer opportunities available, but we do generally advertise for new volunteers about twice a year. Openings for scheduled (usually scheduled for 2 or more hours a week) volunteers are advertised on the lobby bulletin board, to our online News Flash, our Facebook page, as well as in the local print media.
Concord Public Library is accepting applications for volunteers interested in hosting and videoing programs and hanging publicity posters for library events in area businesses (typical volunteer responsibilities can be seen here). Applications can be dropped off at the Service Desk and the deadline to apply is 12pm on May 21.
We also send out volunteer recruitment news via the City’s Notify Me e-mail notification system. If you would like to be notified of any openings, either for one-time, short or long-term projects, please sign up for our Library Volunteers List. Visit the City's Notify Me page to sign up (or sign off) at any time!
The Library Volunteers List is one of the “Notify Me” items at the top of the page.
Just enter your email address, and click on the little envelope next to the list.
You will need to reply to a confirmation e-mail in order to activate your subscription.
