National Night Out

The Concord Police Department will host National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Rollins Park from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This event is for all ages and is held across the country to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood and community police relationships and to send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back on crime.

This year’s family friendly festivities will include food, contests, prizes, K9 demonstrations, the Touch-A-Truck Program, a zoo exhibit, a Black Hawk helicopter, and much more!  Numerous businesses from around the community will be set up in booths to make people aware of the services they have available.

Mark your calendar for National Night Out on the first Tuesday in August.  Check the Concord Police web site for details as the date gets closer.

If you have any questions, you can contact me, Officer Howe, by phone at 225-8600 x 3738, or via Email.
