National Night Out

The Concord Police Department hosted National Night Out on Tuesday August 4, 2015 in Rollins Park from 5:00p.m. to 8:30p.m. This event is for all ages and is held across the country to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood and community police relationships and to send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back on crime.

This year’s family friendly festivities included food, contests, prizes, K9 demonstrations, the Touch-A-Truck Program, a zoo exhibit, a Black Hawk helicopter, and much more. Numerous businesses from around the community were there and teams battled it out for the title of 2015 Badge Ball Champions.

Mark your calendar for next year - National Night Out is the first Tuesday in August.  Check the Concord Police web site for details as the date gets closer!  If you have any questions, you can contact me, Officer Howe, by phone at 225-8600 x 3738, or via Email.
